And We Did It Our Way

I want to thank everyone that chimed in on the last post. It was reassuring to hear the different experiences and know that no matter what I choose, it will be the right choice for Hubby and I. Sometimes I forget to live for us and no one else. I have a tendency to want to do what's right and will make everyone on the outside happy. Unless you piss me off, then all bets are off.

We've come to decisions about everything that work for us and as a woman, and a pregnant one at that I have a right to change my mind at any given time. Woman's perogative is a great thing.

I still don't have much of an appetite, not even for my favorite food pizza. I've been forcing myself to eat and find that after my last meal in the evening I feel gross. From what I have read in my books, things really start messing with your body in the second trimester. Woot-woot.

Happy Wednesday, all!

  4. Patty...I was thinking more along the lines of things that happen in the bathroom! :)

Vicki - You are right about that! I love food and to look in the fridge and have everything turn my stomach is not pleasant.

HTL - I really have to get better at making decisions for us, as opposed to them! :)

  5. Pretty soon, you won't even remember what you were worried about. And soon after that, you'll be worrying about how to pay for college. It all goes by so fast!

  7. Awe, I hope you are feeling better soon! I was always feeling sick and gross until the third trimester, when I felt swollen to capacity, had acid reflux, and insomnia. Gah! But at least I didn't feel like puking, right?

But everybody's different! Don't listen to the books...in fact, step away from the books! They will just freak you out.

Just a weird thought, but have you tried switching prenatal vitamins? I tried one that had two green pills in a pack, and I felt so sick on them. Then I switched to a different one (single pill) and felt better.

  8. Veggie Mom - we are already thinking about college! :)

Tam - Thanks, I sometimes forget to put us into the equation when it comes to decisions.

Jaci - I take my prenatals at night to help curb the fish after taste. I'm thinking of actually switching to something else now that my month supply is about done. You are right about the books, they are overwhelming and scare the shit out of me half the time!
